“We successfully launched Connected Coffee to a global audience in our own backyard!”
– Kevin Nater, CEO
The Briggo team has been grinding extra hard this month with a worldwide unveiling of our Connected Coffee Experience at the annual SXSW Festival in our backyard of Austin, Texas! “Go big or go home” right? Well, we definitely went big… nine days, two Briggo Coffee Haus activations, thousands of new faces, and a crazy amount of fun! Here’s a little recap of our first SXSW experience in case you missed it:
SXSW Trade Show
Dubbed the “hottest spot on the trade show floor”, we kept festival-goers fueled with our unique selection of hot and iced gourmet coffee drinks. Members of the Briggo team from every department were in the mix fielding questions and introducing customers to the new Connected Coffee Experience. Supported with robo-demo’s by our Founder Chas Studor and Coffee Q&A with our Guru Scott McMartin, we unveiled our new Guatemalan direct trade partner, Ricardo Zelaya Farms. We could not be more proud of the overwhelmingly positive interest we received from investors, media, clients, partners, and consumers.
SouthBites Trailer Park
In addition to the foodie, tech, and music lovers we attracted to our tent, we also caffeinated our fellow SouthBites vendors, law enforcement, SXSW staffers, pedicab and rideshare pilots, and our Rainey Street neighbors. We were thrilled to host a surprise pop-up musical showcase by the lovely and talented Meiko and Amber Rubarth at our tent, free for all festival-goers. That was just one of many fun activations we implemented including cup sleeve art, local musicians, and partnerships with local favorite food spots Rockstar Bagels and Stroop Club.
We engaged thousands of customers from every corner of the globe, introducing them to our Connected Coffee Experience. Some notable visitors included NASCAR Driver Ty Dillon, The Golden Girl of Wellness Candice Kumai, Social Media Stars Jay Alvarrez & Kristina Urribarres, and Media Mogul David Kirkpatrick, among many others. We’re inspired by the reactions we received from all of our friends and partners, and hope you’ll continue to follow us to our next stop at the Austin Airport as well as several new cities in the coming months!
