Laura’s love for food and the science of food began with her undergraduate degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Texas A&M. After beginning her career in the restaurant business working for a small, boutique restaurant group in San Antonio, Laura moved to the onsite food service management world where she became a Regional Director for large food service operations for Compass Group and Motorola Food Works. She moved to the client liaison side at Dell managing Dell’s global food services and amenities and most recently for Nike in the Global Integrated Work Place Services Group.
Laura recently received her M.S. in Human Nutrition. She’s active in the Texas A&M Hispanic Network, the Texas Agrilife Extension Group as a Master Wellness Volunteer and in various industry associations.
