Field Service Engineer
Locations: Houston, Tx and Seattle, Wa and New York, Ny

The Role
The Field Service Engineer services and replenishes the Briggo Coffee Haus. The Field Service Engineer performs all System Support duties and responsibilities relating to our Coffee Haus, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, break-fix repairs, warranty service, emergency service, on-call service, start-up of new systems, warehouse and Coffee Haus inventory management, scheduled and non-scheduled Coffee Haus restocking, user training, as well as promotion of company products and services as required. The FSE will work out of the Briggo warehouse (TBD) and will be required to drive the company van. The FSE must be willing to work at various “off peak hours.” The FSE must be self-motivated, able to interact professionally with customers and able to effectively manage time with little supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled preventive maintenance services in assigned area
- Provide on-demand corrective, 24/7 emergency services to customers in
assigned area as required - Provide installation services as assigned
- Assist with start-up services on new installation as required, working closely with engineering and manufacturing installation teams
- Report product quality issues to Engineering and/or Customer Care Manager and file quality reports as directed/required
- Restock the Briggo Coffee Haus with cups, lids, beans, syrups, and milk
- Maintain warehouse consumables and spare parts inventory
- Order consumables and track deliveries to warehouse
- Repackage inventory so that it can be properly installed in the Coffee Haus
- Ensure that required administrative paperwork, Service Work Orders, Expense Reports and Downtime Reports, and start-up logs are properly filled out and processed in a timely manner
- Communicate any mechanical problems to engineering at Headquarters
- Communicate any customer service issues
to the Coffee Haus Manager
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times when working with customers
- Adhere to and strictly enforce all company safety policies and procedures
- Attend required training programs to keep current on system updates
- Position may require some travel as well as holiday and weekend work
- May have to restock between hours of 8:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Required to take food safety classes and maintain certification
- Use computers/various technology to track Haus inventory
Qualifications
- 5+ years as
service technician - 5+ years experience training others
- 2+ years experience driving company van
- Technical degree in electronics preferred
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
- Prior experience with inventory management
- High attention to detail
- Operate effectively under pressure
- Ability to adapt to various situations
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of initiative and energy
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate the company service van
